About Jacky TsaiJacky Tsai (b.1984) is a Chinese artist based in London. His inventive approach fuses traditional eastern artistic techniques and imagery with western Pop Art references to create an original style that seeks to establish balance and harmony between cultural extremes. Tsai originally came into the limelight in 2008 when he created the now iconic floral skull emblem for British fashion designer Alexander McQueen whilst studying for his Masters at Central St. Martins, London. Since then Tsai has used the floral skull in many of his artworks, seeing the image as the best example of his vision: to dispel attitudes of fear and superstition prevalent in his native China and instead encourage the emergence of beauty in decay. The floral skull has since become synonymous with the artist and his work. An extremely prolific creator, Tsai works across many fields, conceiving artworks that manifest themselves through a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, installation, screen printing and mono printing.

Caring for your Print
Here are a few tips on how to best take care of your new print!
All our prints are carefully wrapped and delivered to you in packing tubes for safe transport. Once you receive your print, remove it from the tube at your earliest convenience and store the piece flat. This can be flat packed between some cardboard or plywood, or weighted down on the four corners, preferably with soft objects. Try to avoid leaving your new print rolled for too long!
When framing the work, we always opt for a frame with Art Glass. This may be a little more expensive at first, but it's worth it - Art Glass will keep your print in pristine condition across the years and will ensure the colours always stay true.
Try to place your work in an environment with a normal temperature. Extreme temperature or humidity can have an adverse effect on your beautiful print, so be sure to keep it protected! We always recommend framing the work behind glass as a great way to keep it protected from any adverse environmental conditions.
