About Charming Baker
Charming Baker’s interest in mortality and the transience of personal experience could stray into morbidity, however the artist’s wry wit and rather British self-deprecation anchor the works on the threshold of vitality and something more poignant.
“Nothing is only ever one thing. I don’t see why I shouldn’t bend or break an image to alter its original meaning, if only at least to entertain. Hopefully the work isn’t without a sense of humour.”

Caring for your Print
Here are a few tips on how to best take care of your new print!
All our prints are carefully wrapped and delivered to you in packing tubes for safe transport. Once you receive your print, remove it from the tube at your earliest convenience and store the piece flat. This can be flat packed between some cardboard or plywood, or weighted down on the four corners, preferably with soft objects. Try to avoid leaving your new print rolled for too long!
When framing the work, we always opt for a frame with Art Glass. This may be a little more expensive at first, but it's worth it - Art Glass will keep your print in pristine condition across the years and will ensure the colours always stay true.
Try to place your work in an environment with a normal temperature. Extreme temperature or humidity can have an adverse effect on your beautiful print, so be sure to keep it protected! We always recommend framing the work behind glass as a great way to keep it protected from any adverse environmental conditions.
